A speaker at a Trump rally in Arizona has gone viral after calling Aunt Jemima “the picture of the American Dream.”

“Aunt Jemima was canceled,” Reagan Escudé told Tuesday’s Students for Trump event in Phoenix, referring to the syrup brand’s decision to rebrand after ongoing arguments that its 130-year mascot was racially insensitive.

“And if you didn’t know, Nancy Green, the original, first Aunt Jemima, she was the picture of the American dream,” the Southern Baptist from Louisiana continued to claps and cheers from the audience.

“She was a freed slave who went on to be the face of the pancake syrup that we love and we have in our pantries today.

“She fought for equality, and now the leftist mob is trying to erase her legacy,” Escudé complained to cheers.

“And might I mention how privileged we are as a nation if our biggest concern is a bottle of pancake syrup,” she added.

President Trump thanked her for her “beautiful” comments — which quickly went viral online. A short clip shared on Twitter by Rolling Stone’s Peter Wade had been viewed more than 6 million times by Wednesday morning.

“So the American Dream is to be a freed slave and to be on a pancake box!?” replied Olen Spencer.

Author Kurt Eichenwald also pointed out, “Ummm … Aunt Jemima was a fictional character first created for a minstrel show by Chris Rutt, a popular racist from the late 19th Century who danced and sang in blackface.”

Some shared a recent Associated Press investigation that knocked claims the brand had helped Green die a millionaire, while others put Escudé on blast for suggestion the syrup brand was America’s “biggest concern.”

“NO ONE I know is marching and protesting during a pandemic over #AuntJemima or pancakes,” actress Yvette Nicole Brown wrote, saying, “It’s not MY biggest problem by a mile.”

Trump had introduced Escudé at the event, calling her a “target of liberal cancel culture” after she was fired from her job over a post about Black Lives Matter.

After her speech, she thanked Trump for “never apologizing to the mob,” telling him, “You are the change we need to see in America.”
