#Trapped in a Dating Sim Gets New Visual and Cast Info

Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs has received a new key visual as well as additional cast details. 

The newly announced cast members are Ayane Sakura as Marie Fou Lafan, Kenichi Suzumura as Julius Rapha Holfort, Kousuke Toriumi as Jilk Fia Marmoria, Shinnosuke Tachibana as Brad Fou Field, Kouji Yusa as Chris Fia Arclight, and Nobuyuki Hiyama as Greg Fou Seberg. The new visual depicts their characters.

The previously announced cast includes Takeo Ootsuka as Leon Fou Bartfort, Kana Ichinose as Olivia, and Fairouz Ai as Angelica Rapha Redgrave.

Trapped in a Dating Sim is set to premiere in April in Japan. It is based on the light novel series written by Yomu Mishima and illustrated by Monda. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the books as:

Office worker Leon is reincarnated into a dating sim video game, where women reign supreme and only beautiful men have a seat at the table. But Leon has a secret weapon: he remembers everything from his past life, which includes a complete playthrough of the very game in which he is now trapped. Can Leon spark a revolution to change this new world order?

The staff of the Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs anime includes Miura Kazuya (Full Dive: This Ultimate Next-Gen Full Dive RPG Is Even Shittier than Real Life!) and Shinichi Fukumoto (The Detective Is Already Dead assistant director) as directors, Kenta Ihara (Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy) as series composer, and Masahiko Suzuki (Full Dive: This Ultimate Next-Gen Full Dive RPG Is Even Shittier than Real Life! sub-character designer) as character designer. ENGI is the animation production company.

The MICRO MAGAZINE, INC.-published light novels began in 2018 and has nine volumes as of November 2021. It is published under the GC Novels label. A manga adaptation published by KADOKAWA also began in 2018. Trapped in a Dating Sim first began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2017.
