#Tokyo 7th Sisters Anime Feature Film Newly Set for a Release in Early Spring of 2021

 

 

 

The official website for Tokyo 7th Sisters -Bokura wa Aozora ni Naru- (We will be the blue sky), the upcoming anime feature film inspired by Donuts' smartphone rhythm game Tokyo 7th Sisters, announced today that its theatrical release in Japan is newly set for early spring of 2021.

 

The Toei Animation-animated 70-minute film was originally scheduled to be released in the summer of 2020 to commemorate the game's sixth anniversary but has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film's production committee writes:

 

 "For those of you who have been looking forward to the release of this film, we sincerely apologize for the long delay. We have yet to confirm its detailed schedule, but we will update you on the film's official website and Twitter with any information related to the release. "

 

Also, 777☆SISTERS's new single including the film's theme song "Departures – Ashita no Uta (Tomorrow's Song)-" is set to be released on November 25, 2020. The single will also include "Across the Rainbow," the theme song for the final chapter "EPISODE 6/0 FINAL" of the game's EPISODE series, and "Ribbon," the chapter's insert song.
