To Your Eternity Season 3 Debuts in October 2025, Reveals New Teaser Visual

A new teaser visual and October 2025 premiere date have been revealed for the upcoming third season of To Your Eternity. The third season will be broadcast on the NHK General channel in Japan. Crunchyroll also announced today that it will stream the anime’s new season, as it had the previous two installments.
The new visual showcases the main character, Fushi, standing in the middle of a brightly lit cityscape with two female characters in the background.

The third season’s main production staff and animation studio has not yet been announced.
Season three was announced after the broadcasting of the 20-episode second season that aired from October 23, 2022 to March 12, 2023. The first season aired for 20 episodes from April 12, 2021 to August 30, 2021. Crunchyroll streamed both seasons worldwide, as they aired in Japan.
The production staff for both seasons include Koji Yabuno as character designer, Shinzo Fujita as series screenwriter, and Ryo Kawasaki as music composer. The first season was directed by Masahiko Murata and produced by Brain’s Base, while the second season was directed by Kiyoko Sayama with Drive in charge of the animation production for the series.
The anime is based on the manga series by A Silent Voice’s Yoshitoki Oima, which was first serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine on November 9, 2016. The series is published under the Kodansha Comics label and has released 23 tankobon volumes as of November 2024, with a 24th volume set for release on April 16, 2025. Kodansha USA releases the manga in English in print and digital format for North America.

Crunchyroll describes the main synopsis of season one as:
In the beginning, an “orb” is cast unto Earth. “It” can do two things: change into the form of the thing that stimulates “it”; and come back to life after death. “It” morphs from orb to rock, then to wolf, and finally to boy, but roams about like a newborn who knows nothing. As a boy, “it” becomes Fushi.
Through encounters with human kindness, Fushi not only gains survival skills, but grows as a “person”. But his journey is darkened by the inexplicable and destructive enemy Nokker, as well as cruel partings with the people he loves. Fushi continues his eternal quest, bearing the pain of living with the fortitude of someone who chooses his own path.
