#To Be Hero X Highlights Dragon Boy in Newest Concept Video

The newest concept video for the upcoming To Be Hero X donghua animated series has been released, highlighting Ryoryu, who is the third ranked hero that goes by the name Dragon Boy. The series is scheduled to premiere in Japan in 2025.
The concept video showcases Ryoryu’s spray paint graffiti skills and previews his main theme song “Scar” by anime co-music composer DAIKI (AWSM.).
Li Haolin is credited with the original work and is directing the donghua series, in collaboration with bilibili and Aniplex. Hiroyuki Sawano is composing the show’s main theme song “Jeopardy.” Sawano, Kohta Yamamoto, Kenmochi Hidefumi, DAIKI (AWSM.), Shuhei Mutsuki, Hideyuki Fukasawa, Misaki Umase, and Ryuichi Takada (monaca) are all serving as music composers. BeDream is the animation production company for the series.
Meanwhile, the Japanese voice cast of To Be Hero X includes:

The first To Be Hero series aired in Japan for 12 episodes from October to December 2016, with Studio LAN handing the animation production. Crunchyroll also streamed the series as it aired in Japan, with each episode running for 11 minutes.

The sequel series, To Be Heroine, aired in May 2018, with Studio LAN and Haoliners Animation League in charge of the animation production. Haolin previously directed both of these series.

This is a world where heroes are created by people’s trust, and the hero who has received the most trust is known as – X. In this world, people’s trust can be calculated by data, and these values will be reflected on everyone’s wrist. As long as enough trust points are obtained, ordinary people can also have superpowers and become superheroes that save the world. However, the ever-changing trust value makes the hero’s path full of unknowns…
