#Tirzah cancels North America tour after cough develops into pneumonia

Tirzah has cancelled her October tour of North America, which was scheduled to start tonight (October 12) at The Echo in Los Angeles. She shared the news on Instagram this afternoon, citing an emergent case of pneumonia as her reason for calling off the seven-show run, which included shows in Vancouver, Seattle, Chicago, Miami (at III Points), and Queens, New York, as well as tonight’s and Saturday’s L.A. gigs.
“i am so sorry to say a persistent cough has now developed into pneumonia so I’m unable to travel right now,” Tirzah’s post reads. “it’s with a heavy heart that I have to cancel my october headline shows and iii points in miami. thanks for understanding and sorry again. i will be back soon x.”
On September 5, one week after her summer/fall international tour’s announcement, Tirzah digitally released her third studio album, trip9love…???. Its physical edition ships out November 19 via Domino.
