Steven Adams used his version of cow tipping to stay ready for the NBA’s return.

Oklahoma City Thunder big man returned to his home country of New Zealand in March following the suspension of the 2019-20 NBA regular season due to the coronavirus pandemic. In order to stay in shape the past few months, the 7-foot center told reporters on a Zoom call Thursday that he’s been “boxing out cows” on his farm.

He even lifted up the sleeves of his shirt to show off the farmer’s tan he’s acquired.

“Just from here down,” said the 26-year-old Adams. “It was bloody brilliant. The cows are doing good though, mate.”

Adams also said he was impressed with how the league put together a fan-less “bubble” for the season restart in Orlando and never consider opting out. The league is aiming to resume the season on July 30.

“It’s a safe environment that they’re creating with the top experts, and so it didn’t cross my mind,” Adams said. “I just didn’t even think about it.”
