The man who died after being shot in the head during a confrontation with an alleged vigilante militia teen has been identified in Facebook tributes as local dad Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel said.
“May you forever be with the angels and rest easy bro. I love you!” his sister wrote on Facebook, the paper said.
Rosenbaum — who only moved to the Wisconson city a year ago — leaves behind a fiancé and a young daughter.
Friends are currently trying to raise $25,000 to pay funeral costs and hold a memorial for the local dad known to friends and family as JoJo.
He was the second named as having died in Tuesday’s violence, with friends previously identifying Anthony Huber, 26, as the man shot in the chest after trying to disarm the suspected shooter with a skateboard.
Meanwhile, the lone shooting victim to survive the bloodbath has been identified as Gaige Grosskreutz, 26, by a local radical “social justice group” called the People’s Revolution, the Journal Sentinel said.
Grosskreutz was blasted in the right arm — and was the man pictured howling in agony while still holding a handgun in his injured arm.
He was a volunteer medic for Black Lives Matter protests in Milwaukee over the summer, friends told TMJ4. He was still hospitalized Thursday and not giving interviews, reports said.
“Gaige has been consistent and stayed steadfast with the protests even to this day,” Khalil Coleman, who has been leading the Milwaukee protests for the group, told the station, calling him a “caring person.”
He does not have medical insurance, and an online fundraiser is trying to get $50,000 to help cover bills for the “multiple surgeries” he needs to save his arm, it says.
The People’s Revolution — which the Wisconsin Examiner says is a faction of the Black Lives Matter movement — had 25 members at the Kenosha protests Tuesday, many of whom had cars towed or tires slashed, the group’s mouthpiece, Bethany Crevensten, complained.
She has also been a regular at BLM protests, addressing Kenosha police after the shooting of Jacob Blake, 29, on Sunday.
“I’m coming for you. You’re [sic] whole ass police department will hear me scream,” she said in one Facebook post.

Authorities have yet to formally confirm the identities. Kyle Rittenhouse, 17 and from across state lines in Illinois, has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide over the shootings.
