My Happy Marriage Season 2 Finale Will Premiere on April 9 in Japan

A schedule update for My Happy Marriage Season 2 has revealed that its final episode — the 26th of the overall series and the 13th of the season — will premiere in Japan on April 9 JST.

For international audiences, KADOKAWA says that the “updated Netflix streaming schedule will be announced as soon as it is confirmed.”

Previously, it was announced that My Happy Marriage Season 2’s 12th episode had been delayed as a result of “production circumstances” and would thus premiere on March 31 JST instead of March 24 JST. March 31 JST is the original premiere date for the season finale.

My Happy Marriage Season 2 premiered on January 6, 2025 JST. It is based on the KADOKAWA-published (Fujimi L Bunko label) novel series written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka, which Yen Press describes as:

IS THIS MARRIAGE A BLESSING? OR A CURSE?

Born talentless to a noble family famous for their supernatural abilities, Miyo Saimori is forced into an existence of servitude by her abusive stepmother. When Miyo finally comes of marriageable age, though, her hopes of being whisked away to a better life crumble after she discovers her fiancé’s identity: Kiyoka Kudou, a commander apparently so cold and cruel that his previous would-be brides all fled within three days of their engagements. With no home to return to, Miyo resigns herself to her fate—and soon finds that her pale and beautiful husband-to-be is anything but the monster she expected. As they slowly open their hearts to each other, both realize the other may be their chance at finding true love and happiness.

My Happy Marriage‘s first season premiered in 2023. An OVA was released in between the seasons in November 2024.

The light novel series began publication in January 2019 and has eight volumes as of March 2024. There is a Square Enix-published manga drawn by Rito Kosaka and a live-action movie adaptation.
