“#This is the Largest Rube Goldberg Machine in the World, and Wow Is It Cool – Review Geek”

Pretty much all Rube Goldberg machines are awesome, but this one takes the cake. It’s the largest in the world, as certified by Guinness World Records, and takes over four minutes to complete from beginning to end. You can watch it run in this gripping video.

The machine was created by Chevrolet Menlo in collaboration with Guan Jian and Wang Xiqi of Langfang, Hebei, China. It features a whopping 427 individual steps and took more than three months to painstakingly construct. See it in action, below:

Things are kicked off by a record player which winds up a string that, in turn, pulls a lever that then kicks a piece of metal into motion and activates the remaining 400-plus steps in a smooth yet fast-paced action. After watching it, we can’t believe it only took three months to set up or that things went so smoothly.

In the video, we saw ball bearings, marbles, and other spherical objects navigate dangerous pathways and trinkets like bowling pins, can openers, boomerangs, wheels, chess boards, rotary telephones, water bottles, playing cards, beer bottles, cans, mugs, fidget spinners, movie set clapboards, paper fans, and tongs. We wonder what the team will build next!
