Cool move: In a new Japanese TV commercial for food delivery, the characters from “One Piece” are portrayed as children.

The food delivery app ‘Menu’ (similar to Lieferando in Germany) has a partnership with in Japan «One Piece» extended. This in the form of a cool animated commercial that mixes the real world with the animated anime world. The commercial shows the “One Piece” characters enjoying a tasty menu.

The commercials will air on TV channels in the Kanto, Kansai, Nagoya, Sapporo, Fukuoka, Sendai, and Hiroshima regions starting April 22nd. Another spot shows the delivery worker who hands the menus to Luffy – who, together with the straw hats, is eagerly waiting for the food to be delivered. It is planned to air the spots until May 5th.

Customers who order for over 2,000 YEN (approx. 15 euros) will also receive a “One Piece” extra for free in addition to the menu. Will such a spot also be seen in Germany? Unfortunately, more wishful thinking.
