#Bed & Breakfast for Spirits Has Been Announced
The Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits anime adaptation is getting a second season that will premiere in the Fall 2025 anime season.
The staff and animation production studio for the new season were not revealed.
Kakuriyo is based on the KADOKAWA-published light novel written by Midori Yuma and illustrated by Laruha. Published under the Fujimi L Bunko label, the series ran from 2015 to 2022 with 12 volumes. Viz Media describes its first manga adaptation as;
Aoi wants to work off her debt to the Tenjin-ya inn, but she only has one day to find a position and none of the managers are willing to hire a human! If she can just get someone to see past her family background, Aoi is certain she can prove her worth!
The first Kakuriyo season premiered in 2018 and ran for two cours. The GONZO-produced anime was directed by Yoshiko Okuda (Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!) with character designs from Yoko Sato (I’m in Love with the Villainess) and series composition by Tomoko Konparu (Cherry Magic!, Endo and Kobayashi Live! The Latest on Tsundere Villainess Lieselotte).
Another manga adaptation, published by Kodansha instead of KADOKAWA, began in 2023.
