#The World Ends With You Anime To Stream on Funimation

Funimation announced it will stream The World Ends With You The Animation in 2021. The announcements comes after the Anime Expo Lite panel featuring the first animated preview trailer and key visual. 

DOMERICA and Shin-Ei Animation are in charge of the animation production. Key staff includes:

Character Design: Tetsuya Nomura and Gen Kobayashi

Music: Takeharu Ishimoto

The adaptation is based on the popular video game The World Ends with You from Square Enix. 

Funimation describes the show as: 

[The World Ends With You The Animation] follows Neku Sakuraba as he’s thrust into a video game scenario in Shibuya called Reaper’s Game that will have him fighting for his life. Along with the allies he teams up with along the way, Neku will have to make it to the end to see his humanity again.
