#The World Ends With You Anime Reveals New PV and Theme Song Artist

The official website for The World Ends with You the Animation (Subarashiki Kono Sekai The Animation), revealed a new promotional video and the ending theme song artist. Additionally, the anime’s main cast will be featured in the UG Shibuya Fes event on March 14 along with the world premiere of the first episode and a digital UG Shibuya Museum exhibit. The anime is set to premiere on April 9.

The anime’s main staff includes Tetsuya Nomura (Final Fantasy Series) and Gen Kobayashi (Schoolgirl Strikers) as character designers, Takeharu Ishimoto (The World Ends With You game, Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII, Kingdom Hearts 3) as music composer, Midori Gotou (Attack on Titan: Junior High, Clean Freak! Aoyama-kun) as series composer, and Kazuya Ichikawa (Clean Freak! Aoyama-kun) as director. DOMERICA and SHIN-EI ANIMATION are in charge of the animation production.

The cast members include Kouki Uchiyama as Neku, Anna Hachimine as Shiki, Subaru Kimura as Beat, Ayana Taketatsu as Rhyme, Ryouhei Kimura as Joshua, and Kenjiro Tsuda as Hanekoma. ALI performs the opening song “TEENAGE CITY RIOT” and ASCA performs the ending theme song “Carpe Diem.”

The cast also includes Satomi Arai as Yashiro, Anri Katsu as Kariya, Kenji Yakahashi as Higashizawa, Takayuji Fujimoto as Minamimoto, Hitomi Nabatame as Konishi, and Hiroshi Shirokuma as Kitaniji.
