#The Too-Perfect Saint TV Anime Previews Opening & Ending Themes in New Main Trailer, Adds 7 More Cast

A new main trailer has been released for the The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold to Another Kingdom TV anime adaptation, which previews the main opening and ending themes, and confirms the addition of more cast members. The anime will begin early weekly streaming on Crunchyroll on April 2, 2025, while it will broadcast in Japan on April 9, 2025. 

The trailer highlights the series’ main ending theme “Sister” by Won and opening theme “Ai toka” by Riria. 

It also reveals seven additional cast that are joining the series, which include:

• • KENN as Mammon 
• • Natsumi ‌Murakami as Emily Martilas
• • Aina ‌Suzuki as Amanda Matilas
• • Nanaka ‌Suwa as Jane Matilas
• • Hiroki ‌Tochi as Asmodeus 
• • Maaya ‌Sakamoto as Fianna Isphil

They join a main voice cast that stars: 

• • Yui Ishikawa as Philia Adenauer
• • Kaede Hondo as Mia Adenauer
• • Takuya Sato as Oswald Parnacorta
• • Kohei Amasaki as Julius Ziltonia

Shuu Watanabe (Shinobi no Ittoki) is directing the anime series, with Keiichiro Ochi (Go! Go! Loser Ranger!) as series screenwriter, Shuhei Yamamoto (Beast Tamer) as character designer, and Takaaki Nakahashi (Peach Boy Riverside) as music composer. TROYCA is handling the animation production. 

Ochi, Takayo Ikami (I Shall Survive Using Potions), and Sayaka Harada (STARMYU) are also co-writing the scripts together. 

The anime is based on the light novel series, written by Fuyutsuki Koki and illustrated by Masami. It was first published under the Overlap Novels f imprint on April 25, 2021 and has released seven volumes as of December 2024, with an eighth volume set for release on March 25, 2025. A manga adaptation by Mago Ayakita was launched in November 2021. Seven Seas Entertainment releases both the light novels and manga in English for North America. 

The series originally began as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel from July 18, 2020 to January 19, 2022.

Crunchyroll describes the main synopsis of The Too-Perfect Saint as: 

Philia Adenauer hails from a family renowned for producing Saints for generations in the Kingdom of Girtonia. Saints fight to protect humankind from monsters, and Philia underwent rigorous education and training to earn her title. After her fiancé, Julius, breaks off their engagement, Philia is sold to the kingdom of Parnacorta for resources. Will her homeland survive without her?!?
