Okay, technically, one of our top picks this week is a movie. However, it’s a Netflix Original, so it sort of counts as a TV show. Right? Can we get away with it?

There’s something for each night of the week. One of the shows on this list is extremely important for the protests happening right now, showing the systemic racism against Indigenous people in Canada.

The Order Season 2

Let’s start with a show that’s already available to stream. The Order Season 2 dropped on Thursday, so you’ve had all weekend to watch it. If it slipped by without realizing, then you’ll want to catch up now.

It’s the perfect way to kick off your week. There’s nothing too serious in terms of subject matter, focusing more on the fantasy than anything else.

Council of Dads

Another important show right now is Council of Dads. We don’t talk a lot about male mental health and support, but it’s an important conversation to have. Throughout the last eight episodes, we’ve watched these men come together to support each other, even when they don’t feel like they deserve that support.

Episode 9 sees a severe storm on the way. Luly’s article is published, but now she needs to tell her family the truth she’s learned before it’s too late. At the same time, she wants to help Larry connect with his daughter and granddaughter to protect them from the storm.

Onto the movie at the end of the week. Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga stars Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams as two singers who want to make it big. By big, they mean perform on the stage at the Eurovision Song Contest.

It shines a light on the international singing competition in a fun way. It’s going to be a relaxing, humorous way to spend the end of the week.
