#Hyaku-man Dollar no Michishirube Reveals New Trailer & Theme Song Artist

A new PV trailer has been revealed for the upcoming Detective Conan: Hyaku-man Dollar no Michishirube anime film, which will premiere theatrically in Japan on April 12, 2024. It is the franchise’s 27th overall film.  

The 90-second trailer also previews the anime film’s main theme song “Aisai,” by singer-songwriter aiko.

The production staff includes Chika Nagaoka (Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet) as director, Takahiro Ookura (Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween) as scriptwriter, and Yuugo Kanno (Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine) as music composer. TMS Entertainment is in charge of the animation production.  

Goushou Aoyama’s Detective Conan manga began serialization in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday in January 5, 1994 and has 104 tankoubon volumes released as of October 2023. Viz Media releases releases Case Closed 

The long-running TV anime adaptation from TMS Entertainment began airing in 1996, with the first anime film premiering in 1997. 

The 2023 Detective Conan film titled Detective Conan: Kurogane no Submarine, is the franchise’s top-grossing film with an all-time, ranking 18th on the Japanese box office chart.

Aside from Kaito Kid, Detective Conan: Hyaku-man Dollar no Michishirube story follows Conan, Heiji Hattori, and Kaito Kid, who are involved in a plot concerning a katana that is hiding a “truth,” along with a decisive scramble for a treasure.
