55-year-old anime voice actress Megumi Ogata (Shinji Ikari in Evangelion) has posted a full music video for “Never, ever,” the lead track from her forthcoming 13th original album “Gekiyaku -Dramatic Medicine-“ to be released on April 21, 2021. It will have been four years and two months since her previous 12th album “real/dummy” was released in February 2017.

The impressive rock tune “Never, ever” was composed by HISASHI (GLAY guitarist), and its lyrics were written by Ogata herself. And this video, in which she herself appears, is her first music video in 25 years. She wrote on Twitter, “It’s my first music video in 25 years. The previous one was only a one-chorus version, so it’s practically my first… I’m thrilled to have such a cool, chuuni-ish video created for me!(laughs) Please check it out.”
