“#The Post’s endorsements for Tuesday’s NYC Democratic primary”
Tuesday is the last day to vote in New York City’s Democratic primary. The results will likely determine the city’s next mayor, since Gotham is heavily Democratic and the Republican nominee will have an enormously steep hill to overcome.
Polls are open from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. We urge eligible New Yorkers to make sure they vote if they want a say in the city’s future. Here are our endorsements for three key races:
For Mayor of New York City
First choice: Eric Adams. A police officer for 22 years, former state senator and current Brooklyn borough president, Adams is the best-suited candidate to tackle the city’s top issue: crime.
For New York City Comptroller
First choice: Zach Iscol. His ambition and immense experience as an entrepreneur will serve him well.
For Manhattan District Attorney
Tali Farhadian Weinstein. She’s anti-crime, while most of the other eight Democratic candidates spend more time talking about emptying the jails and what they won’t prosecute than about promoting public safety.
