The Honor at Magic High School

The Irregular at Magic High School spinoff anime The Honor at Magic High School officially kicks off on TV in Japan starting July 3, and it’ll do so to the tune of Sangatsu no Phantasia‘s opening theme, “101.” The theme was revealed back at the start of June, and now a new promo is here to offer up a sample ahead of the series premiere.

The Honor at Magic High School follows the story of the original work but through the eyes of Tatsuya’s sister Miyuki. The manga is drawn by Yu Mori with Tsutomu Sato, the original author of The Irregular at Magic High School franchise providing the story. Yen Press is releasing the series in English, describing it as such:

A century has passed since magic–true magic, the stuff of legends–has returned to the world. It is spring, the season of new beginnings, and a new class of students is about to begin their studies at the First National Magic University Affiliated High School, nickname: First High.

A manga spin-off of the immensely popular light novel series The Irregular at Magic High School, The Honor Student at Magic High School follows the events of the original series as seen through the eyes of Miyuki Shiba, Tatsuya’s sister. The life of an honor student comes with a lot of expectations…and unexpected hidden feelings?!
