Two new character PVs have been revealed for the “Ancient Arc” story-line of The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody, an ongoing TV anime based on the series of fantasy light novels written by Myojin Katou and illustrated by Sao Mizuno about an peerless Demon Lord who reincarnates hundreds of years in the future in search of a new challenge.

The character PVs (below) focus on Alvarto Exex and Lizer Bellphoenix, two of the “Four Heavenly Kings” who fight as generals in the army of Demon King Varvatos.

The original The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody novels are published in Japan by Fujimi Shobo under their Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint, and an English language version of the series is also available from Yen Press. Crunchyroll describes the story of the series as follows:

After accomplishing everything he could as king, the most powerful Demon Lord ever, Varvatos, is now bored. To spice things up a bit, he is reborn in the future as Ard Meteor. Not without first recalibrating his powers to be perfectly average. But there’s no way he could have predicted that everyone in the modern world would be weak as hell, making him totally overpowering once again!
