#Open World The Seven Deadly Sins Game In Development at Netmarble
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, an open world game based on The Seven Deadly Sins, is currently in development at Netmarble for mobile, PC, and consoles.

The new game was revealed in a press release announcing Netmarble’s slate of in-development titles. According to Google’s translation of the press release, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin will feature an original story that involves a multiverse and a new protagonist. There will also be appearances from characters from The Seven Deadly Sins‘s sequel Four Knights of the Apocalypse. The game is described as a sequel to Netmarble’s The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross mobile action RPG, and is similarly being developed by its Netmarble F&C subsidiary.

An unlisted (at the time of writing) trailer provides a look at game’s combat and locations, that latter of which includes a town and an underwater area. Much of the open world appears to consist of grassy plains, although some structures including a castle and bridge can also be spotted.

In terms of traversal abilities and options, the trailer shows Meliodas calling upon Diane to bridge a gap with her Creation power and scaling a cliff, while King can take to the skies. Aside from Meliodas, Diane and King, characters that show up in the video include Merlin, Howzer, Gilthunder, Hawk, and Elizabeth. During the section where Meliodas summons Diane for her ability, Ban is seen as one of the available options.

Among the other titles announced in the press release include a Solo Levelling game and a Tower of God collectible RPG.
