#THE FINAL Movie Main Trailer Revealed

Warner Bros. Japan revealed the official main trailer for the live action movie RUROUNI KENSHI: THE FINAL. The movie is scheduled for April 23 in Japan. The theme song “Renegades” by ONE OK ROCK was teased in the trailer. The band previously performed the theme song for the previous films.

The upcoming film is the fourth installment of the live-action adaptation. 

RUROUNI KENSHI: THE BEGINNING, the second new film, is scheduled for June 4 in Japan. The story is centered around “when Kenshin was still ‘Battosai the Killer’ during the fall of the shogunate era, and the heart-wrenching story behind his crossed-scars.”

In celebration of the upcoming release, Warner Bros. Japan is hosting an online session for global fans on March 24. Participants includes the cast & crew of Rurouni Kenshin: The Final/The Beginning – Takeru Satoh,
Emi Takei, Mackenyu Arata, Munetaka Aoki, Tao Tsuchiya, Kasumi Arimura, Issey Takahashi, Yosuke Eguchi, Keishi Otomo (director).

The adaptation is based on the popular manga series by Nobuhiro Watsuki. It also recieved an anime adaptation in 1996.
