The Eminence in Shadow Joins Isekai Quartet Season 3
A third season of Isekai Quartet has been announced, and it’s adding The Eminence in Shadow to its crossover pot of isekai anime.
A teaser visual shows Natsuki Subaru, Tanya Degurechaff, Kazuma Sato, Ainz, and Naofumi Iwatani singing with mics in their hands while Cid Kagenou plays the piano while shrouded in shadow.
The first season of Isekai Quartet aired in 2019, while the second season aired in 2020. The first season of the short anime saw the casts of Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World, Overlord, The Saga of Tanya the Evil, and Konosuba -God’s blessing on this wonderful world! being transported to a school setting. The cast of The Rising of the Shield Hero joined the fray in Season 2.
The crossover spin-off also inspired a 2022 anime movie titled Isekai Quartet The Movie: Another World.
