#The Conners: Season Six; ABC Sitcom Cast Member Not Returning as Series Regular

Another cast member will be missing when The Conners returns to ABC next month. Jayden Rey (above, left), who plays the daughter of DJ Conner (Michael Fishman), will not be returning as a series regular for season six.
Starring John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson, Emma Kenney, Ames McNamara, and Jay R. Ferguson, the comedy follows Dan Conner and his family as they continue to struggle and stick together in the working-class community of Lanford. Katey Sagal recurs.
DJ’s wife, Geena Willams Conner was written out of the show when Maya Lynne Robinson left after one season. Fishman departed the series ahead of season five. Though Rey stayed on as a regular, she was only seen in a handful of episodes. Deadline reports that Rey may guest on future episodes.
The Conners will return to ABC on February 7th.
