Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady will join Fox Sports as the company’s top NFL game analyst once he retires from football.

CEO Lachlan Murdoch, announced the news and said Brady will serve as an analyst and “ambassador” for Fox. Brady will also handle some “client and promotional initiatives,” according to Murdoch.

New York Post reported that Brady had reached a deal with Fox on a 10-year contract worth up to $375 million, the largest contract in sportscasting history. Brady made about $293 million playing quarterback in the NFL for 22 seasons, the most of any football player in history, and even that is still lower than his broadcasting contract.
Brady confirmed the news with a Tuesday morning tweet, saying he still has “unfinished business” on the football field.
When the 44-year-old actually retires is still an open question. Brady retired in February only to reverse his decision and opt to play in the upcoming 2022 season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While Brady, set to turn 45 in August, doesn’t have a contract beyond 2022, he has publicly stated that he could play in the NFL at a more advanced age. “I do think I could play till 50,” Brady told Complex earlier this year.
