#The Bob’s Burgers Movie Has A Post-Credits Scene You’ll Want To Stick Around For

“The Bob’s Burgers Movie Has A Post-Credits Scene You’ll Want To Stick Around For”

After Bob (voiced by H. Jon Benjamin), Linda (John Roberts), Tina (Dan Mintz), Gene (Eugene Mirman), and Louise (Kristen Schaal) save the day and their restaurant, the post-credits scene for “The Bob’s Burgers Movie” revisits Tina’s famous (infamous?) friend fiction wherein she and Jimmy Jr. are riding horses on the beach, except now they’re both riding on Tina’s horse, Jericho, and they’re not alone. They’re actually joined by some zombies, who are crowding the young Pesto and likely giving into their cannibalistic tendencies. After he offers up a bit of protest, the eldest Belcher child says it’s fine, and we cut to black as Tina basks in the dream scenario.

This is a fun throwback for longtime fans of the animated Fox series, as the daydream features three out of four of Tina’s great loves throughout the series: Jimmy Jr., zombies, and horses. (The fourth one is presumably her family, but who really knows what order she would list them in?) These references get an extended bit earlier on in the movie as Tina struggles with asking the real Jimmy Jr. to be her summer boyfriend, but the filmmakers added this last one for good measure, likely in an attempt to hold over the audience until the 13th season of the show premieres next year. So despite not being an integral part of the plot of the film or what’s coming next, this post-credits scene falls into the cheeky joke category.

Get it? Because Jimmy Jr. is in his underwear and Tina likes butts? Yeah, you get it.

“The Bob’s Burgers Movie” will be served in theaters on May 27, 2022.
