#The Barbarian’s Bride Releases Cast Preview Trailer and Key Visual, Premieres in Fall

The main voice cast of the upcoming The Barbarian’s Bride anime has been unveiled with a voice-previewing trailer. A key visual of the barbarian and his bride and a Fall anime season release window were also revealed.

The cast includes:

• Sayumi Suzuhiro as Serafina de Lavillant
• Satoshi Inomata as Veor
• Hana Ishikawa as Tsetsi
• Aki Toyosaki as Alyssa Martias

The Barbarian’s Bride is based on the manga by Noriaki Kotoba. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the premise as:

Serafina de Lavillant, the strongest female knight in the West, was sent to subjugate the barbaric tribes of the East. But when her mission fails spectacularly, she’s captured alive and imprisoned. Humiliated and dreading what horrific torture she’ll endure, she asks to be put to death. To her surprise, rather than tearing her limb from limb, the tribe leader asks for her hand…in marriage! Will Serafina face a cruel and abusive arranged marriage? Or will she discover that these tribes aren’t as barbaric as she was led to believe?

The manga is serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine and will release its ninth tankoubon volume on April 9 JST.
