Cryalot is Sarah Midori Perry (Kero Kero Bonito) and producer Jennifer Walton. Their debut EP Icarus is inspired by the titular Greek myth, and was announced by the absolutely blistering lead single “Hell is Here.” “I definitely feel like this EP is a journey,” Perry said on this week’s ep of The FADER Interview, “and I want it to sound like a story. I wanted to sing about all aspects of the Icarus story and rewrite its common interpretation as a cautionary tale.
