#Tesla Note Gets TOKYO MONSTERS, Yui Ninomiya for OP, ED Songs

The upcoming Tesla Note anime has announced the artists for its opening and ending songs. Rock band TOKYO MONSTERS is performing the opening song “PUPPET’S,”  while singer Yui Ninomiya is performing the ending song “Prosaic LIFE.”

Set to release in October, Tesla Note is based on the spy action manga written by Tiger and Bunny‘s Masafumi Nishida with Kubo Tadayoshi and drawn by Kouta Sannomiya. Kodansha describes the manga’s story as:

Mission T is a secret operation to save the world from destruction. Trained as a ninja from a young age, Botan Negoro, raised to become the ultimate spy, teams up with another excellent spy, Kuruma. Their aim is to recover the legacy of the genius inventor Nikola Tesla, the “Shards of Tesla.” Can the two outwit the agents of other countries who are also pursuing these fragments? A super-original spy thriller begins.

The staff includes Michio Fukuda (Terra Formars: Revenge) as director, Masafumi as series composer and scriptwriter, illustrator POKImari as original character designer, Kiyotoshi Takai as CG director, Yōko Nakao (O Maidens in Your Savage Season co-art director) as art director, Shigemitsu Hamao (Those Snow White Notes) as photography director, and Kaoru Wada (Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon) as music composer. Gambit is in charge of the animation production.

Meanwhile, the cast includes Konomi Kohara as Botan Negoro, Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Kuruma, Tomoaki Maeno as Ryuunosuke Takamatsu, Junichi Suwabe as Mickey Miller, Hiroshi Kamiya as Oliver Thornton, Kazuya Nakai as Kyōhei Himi, Mugihito as Jingo Negoro, Hidenobu Kiuchi as Kensuke Toriumi, and Shizuka Itō as Lily Steiner.
