#TenSura Releases Collaboration Visual of 2024 Isekai Anime That Includes Non-isekai Anime

For good or ill, isekai titles are everywhere these days. Serving as a reminder of that fact is a new collaboration visual released by the X (formerly Twitter) account of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, which is meant to feature Rimuru with the protagonists of other isekai anime adaptations that are coming out in 2024 (Tensura‘s third season begins in April).
The intended theme of the collaboration, which is dubbed as 2024 ni Isekaikei Anime ga Ippai Housousareru Ken (or That Time A Lot of Isekai-type Anime Were Broadcast in 2024), is slightly diluted by the inclusion of non-isekai shows like this July’s Wistoria: Wand and Sword and this April’s I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince (despite Kodansha USA applying the isekai tag to the latter’s manga adaptation). The other featured anime are As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the New World (also premieres in April) and Quality Assurance in Another World (delayed from Spring 2024 to July, a reminder that delays are as common as isekai and reincarnation genre adaptations these days).

While not all of the five shows are isekai, each is an adaptation of a Kodansha title (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is based on the Kodansha-published manga adaptation rather than the MICRO MAGAZINE-published light novels).
Aside from this visual, there will also be a collaboration stage at AnimeJapan 2024 on both March 23 (1:05 PM JST to 1:50 PM JST) and March 24 (2 PM JST to 2:45 PM JST) at the Bandai Namco Group Booth.
