#Temperatures in NYC could feel like 110 degrees this week

The Big Apple will continue to roast this week, with high humidity added to the mix to make it feel even more sweltering — and a real-feel temperature of up to 110 degrees Monday, forecasters warn.

Temperatures on Sunday and Monday are expected to reach the mid-90s — but could feel like “over 100” because it will be so humid, too, AccuWeather senior meteorologist Tom Kines said.

The heat index Monday could make it feel like 110, he said.

“The one thing about [Saturday] was while it was hot, the humidity wasn’t bad. That’s changing today,” Kines told The Post on Sunday.

The National Weather Service has issued a heatwave advisory for the five boroughs between noon Sunday and 8 p.m. Monday.

“There’s sweaty-back alerts out all over the place,” Kines said. “People are going to be sweating.”

New York City will “struggle to get into the 70s” Sunday night even when the sun goes down, Kines said.

“If you don’t have air-conditioning, you’re not only going to suffer today, but you’re going to suffer tonight as well,” Kines said.

But the hot spell is more or less standard for this time of year.

“While it’s going to be hot [and] miserable the next few days, it has been worse,” Kines said, adding that the record is in the low 100s.

Mother Nature will provide some temporary relief from the humidity on Tuesday, though it will be “still hot,” with highs of 90, he said.

The sticky weather will return the next day, with temps reaching the mid- to upper 80s Wednesday and continuing into Thursday, Kines said.

“It might not be as hot, but it’s not going to feel great out there,” said Kines of the expected mid-week weather.

Still, he said, drier conditions are on the horizon for the weekend, with temperatures expected in the low to mid-80s.

“If we keep our fingers crossed, there could be relief Friday into the weekend,” the expert said.
