The production team for Technoroid Overmind has announced that the anime’s eight episode is being postponed by one week to March 1, 2023, due to COVID-19-related production delays. The broadcast schedule for episode nine onward has not yet been confirmed. The anime series first premiered on January 5, 2023.
Technoroid Overmind was previously delayed from an initial April 2022 premiere for an indefinite period, until it was confirmed to air in January 2023. The show is one of several 2023 anime to have experienced significant broadcast delays in recent months.
The anime is directed by Im Ga-Hee (Sonny Boy episode director, Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan’s Island assistant director), with Ai Yoshimura (Ao Haru Ride director) as series supervisor, Ayumi Sekine (The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window) as series screenwriter, illustrator LAM as original character designer, and Saori Sakiguchi (number24) as character designer. Elements Garden and RUCCA are serving as the music composers while LOGIC&MAGIC is the CG company. Noriyasu Agematsu, RUCCA, and Elements Garden are credited with the concept. Doga Kobo is the animation production company.
The main voice cast includes Kazuki Ura as Cobalt, Satoi Shibuya as Chrom, Hiromu Mineta as Kei, and kayto as Neon. Other voice cast members include Mutsumi Tamura as Esora Shibaura, Asami Seto as Eliza, Daiki Hamano as Bora, Kenji Nojima as Nobel, and Takuya Kirimoto as Hakushu.
Technoroid Overmind is part of the overall Technoroid mixed-media project franchise. The mobile game Technoroid: Unison Heart that was launched on January 21, 2022. Several music CDs, manga, and merchandise have also been released.

Crunchyroll is streaming the anime series worldwide, except in Japan. It describes the story as:
Four ownerless androids shack up in an abandoned house, but with no electricity to recharge themselves, they face the threat of a forced shutdown.
