#Woman, 11-year-old boy, found dead in New Jersey pond

An adult woman and an 11-year-old boy were reportedly found dead in a New Jersey pond on Tuesday night.

The two were discovered by police in the water at Grace Lord Park in the town of Boonton, authorities told WABC.

The woman, 35, and the boy were declared dead on scene.

Police were first called to the area after receiving word that a 6-year-old child at the park was looking for his mother.

Authorities then found footprints leading into the water.

The victims were not immediately identified. It’s unclear if they are related.
