The Miss Kuroitsu from the Monster Development Department anime has received a teaser trailer, teaser visual, and a January 8, 2022 release date in Japan. Main staff and cast details were also released.
The main staff includes Hisashi Saitō (The Testament of Sister New Devil: Departures) as director, Katsuhiko Takayama (Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story Season 2 -The Eve of Awakening- co-series composer) as series composer, and Kazuya Morimae (Full Dive: This Ultimate Next-Gen Full Dive RPG Is Even Shittier than Real Life! chief animation director) as character designer. Quad is the animation production studio.
Meanwhile, the main cast includes Kaori Maeda as Tōka Kuroitsu and Satomi Amano as Wolf Bait.
Miss Kuroitsu from the Monster Development Department is based on the manga by Hiroaki Mizusaki. The comedy manga began in 2019 and released its second tankōbon volume in July 2021.
The story follows Tōka Kuroitsu, an assistant researcher at an evil organization whose struggle is not with heroes of justice, but with office issues like presentations, drawing up proposals, and dealing with her superior’s unreasonable requests.
