A British teacher has been fired and banned from classrooms following a sexual misconduct investigation for telling a female student to buy “sl*tty underwear.”

According to The Daily Mail, fired Sixth Form College Farnborough teacher Harry White, 37, made numerous sexual remarks toward one of his students, a misconduct panel heard.

White allegedly groomed the girl beginning when he cast her in a “risque” part for a musical at school.

The panel heard White “told Pupil A told to buy ‘sl*tty’ underwear that pushed her cleavage ‘up as much as possible’ for the role.”

Now, the Teaching Regulation Agency has ruled that Mr White represents a danger to pupils and banned him from teaching.

Sixth form students are roughly equivalent to high school senior students in the US educational system.

The misconduct panel also heard that White continued to make sexual remarks toward the student and various inappropriate advances, including describing his sex dreams and asking her about porn.

“Pupil A informed Pupil J [another student] that Mr White had described a graphic sex scene to Pupil A in the television series “House of Cards” in which an older 50-year-old politician had performed a sexual act on a 19-year-old girl,” the panel wrote in a ruling that banned White from classrooms.

The BBC reported White continued the relationship after the student graduated to university.

Once she had left the college for university he had continued the relationship, sending her gifts, asking her to send inappropriate pictures in her underwear, and performed a sexual act in front of her on Skype, the panel found.

The teacher was suspended and later fired after the student’s parents wrote to the school to inform them of White’s sexual misconduct.

White did not attend the hearing, but has denied all allegations of impropriety.

“We may well have exchanged about 30 pictures. These were all in the context of friendship,” he said previously.

The panel also heard that White had asked the student to delete messages from him.

In a ruling published on Friday (April 23), a decision on behalf of the education secretary confirmed that Mr White had been banned from teaching indefinitely and will not be allowed to apply for restoration of his eligibility to teach.

The panel ruled that the fired teacher’s actions amounted to “serious sexual misconduct” in their ruling on the matter.

White has been indefinitely banned from classrooms and will not be allowed to reapply to teach again.

The school said in a statement: “The College treats all allegations and complaints of this nature with the utmost seriousness, placing the highest priority on the safeguarding of all students in its care. Such instances are very rare.

“However, whilst we are confident that the disciplinary procedures followed on this occasion were supportive, robust and effective, the College has taken the opportunity to reflect on the issues raised by this case and is, accordingly, reviewing its staff training, policies and practice.”
