Japanese news outlet TBS reported last night through their NEWS23 TV program that Gege Akutami's JUJUTSU KAISEN manga has exceeded 12 million copies released. In their video report, NEWS24 discusses how popular the series has become in Japan and the rest of the world, with a reference to Crunchyroll's international dubs for the currently airing TV anime adaptation.

The report states that ticket applications for JUJUTSU KAISEN events in Japan have increased 10x since the anime started airing in October, with the series seeing huge booms in France and around the world thanks to the TV anime streaming in multiple regions. NEWS23 even spoke to a salesman at the Shibuya Tsutaya bookstore, who stated that the manga "is anticipated to sell as well as, or at least close to, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba."

The last time we checked into the manga sales for JUJUTSU KAISEN was on October 31 with 10 million copies in circulation, meaning that the series has had at least 2 million copies printed and sold digitally in the last month and a half – no small feat!
