“#TBS Reveals Go-Big Show Season 2 Trailer”
The premise of Go-Big Show is to showcase supersized talents on a scale never before seen on television, usually death-defying stunts. Season 2 has a lot planned and will keep viewers at the edge of their seats with underwater escape artists, bull jumpers, and incredible feats of strength, to trick riders and world record holders. These immensely talented contestants will show off their daring acts, in a battle to impress the judges as they advance toward the finale’s ultimate $100,000 prize and go big, or go home.
Go-Big Show currently ranks as the No. 3 cable comedy, reaching more than 34 million viewers. Brett Weitz, the General Manager of TBS, TNT, and truTV, shares his thoughts about this hugely popular show:
When you find a show and personalities that come together so authentically and bring joy and wow to an audience, you go big with your commitment to it… Viewers turned in week after week to see both what amazing acts our contestants could perform and what our judges reactions would be. We are committed to bringing this type of television to our fans for years to come.
Go-Big Show is hosted by American stand-up comedian Bert Kreischer, and he is joined by a panel of celebrity judges. Snoop Dogg, Rosario Dawson, Jennifer Nettles, and Cody Rhodes formed the judges’ panel in the first season of the show. Season 2 has made a small change by replacing Snoop Dogg with the famous hip-hop/pop artist T-Pain. The rapper’s position in the season was originally meant to go to the Grammy-winning producer and artist DJ Khaled. In fact, Khaled was also meant to be one of the Executive Producers of the show. However, it is not known why TBS made the change a month into the production of the show.
Go-Big Show is produced by Propagate and Matador Content, a Boat Rocker Company. Todd Lubin of Matador Content, Jay Peterson of Boat Rocker Studios, Propagate’s Howard T. Owens, Ben Silverman, and Gregory Lipstone, showrunner Conrad Green, Kreischer, and Dawson form the roster of Executive Producers for the show.
Season 2 of this extreme talent show is set to premiere on January 6, Thursday, at 9 pm ET/PT on TBS.
