#Taylor Swift Reacts to Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt’s Cover of “All Too Well” on ‘SNL’

It seems Taylor Swift also can’t get enough of Ryan Gosling as Ken.

On Saturday’s episode of Saturday Night Live, host Ryan Gosling was joined by his The Fall Guy co-star Emily Blunt to sing a rendition of Taylor Swift’s hit song “All Too Well” during the monologue.

The setup was that Gosling said he initially said he wasn’t going to talk about his Barbie character on the show, but he changed his mind and decided to sing about his feelings.

“You know, when you play a character that hard, that long, just letting go feels like a breakup and for processing a breakup, there’s really only one thing that can help: the music of the great Taylor Swift,” Gosling said, sitting down at a piano and donning sunglasses and a white fur coat à la his character’s in the movie.

Gosling then proceeded to sing: “I shredded Venice Beach is true / My clothes were tight / But something about that spandex felt so right / I left my rollerblades in that big pink house / But I still got that fur coat and I’ll wear that right now.”

“If I said that I was doing fine, you know I’d be lying / ‘Cause I was just Ken and now I’m just Ryan,” he continued.

Blunt turned up to basically try to force Gosling to snap out of it but ended up singing an homage to her Oppenheimer character, Kitty, alongside him.

For her part, Swift posted an approval of the bit on Instagram.

She wrote (in all caps): “All Too Well (Ryan and Emily’s Version)!!! Watch me accidentally catch myself singing this version on tour. This monologue is everything.”

Swift ended her post with emojis of hands making the heart sign and applause.
