“#Shaman King Reboot Anime 2nd PV Introduces New OP Theme by Megumi Hayashibara”

Along with the second key visual featuring its main characters, the official website for the upcoming reboot TV anime based on Hiroyuki Takei’s Shaman King manga has posted an 80-second second PV. The new clip introduces the anime’s OP theme song “Soul salvation” sung by none other than Megumi Hayashibara for the first time.

And the title for the ED theme song, also sung by Hayashibara, is announced as “#Bokunoyubisaki” (#My Fingertips). Her 43rd single including the OP and ED theme songs will be available on April 14, 2021.

The new Shaman King TV anime is set to premiere on TV Tokyo and its affiliates at 17:55 on April 1, 2021 (JST). And it will be streamed on Netflix in 2021.

Also, Yui Horie is confirmed to reprise her role as Iron Maiden Jeanne, the leader of the X-Laws. Meanwhile, Yuichi Nakamura is newly cast as Marco Lasso, the captain of the X-Laws, in place of Akimitsu Takase who played the character in the first TV anime in 2000-2001.
