#Tapas Media Adds Solo Leveling, Kill the Hero, and Multiple Korean Webcomics

Tapas Media, an online digital comic platform, has expanded its library in April to include many notable Korean webcomics (manhwa) such as Solo Leveling, Kill the Hero, The Max Level Hero Strikes Back, and I’m Destined to Greatness. 

Solo Leveling is currently available up to chapter (listed as episodes) 133 with updates every Monday. The webcomic is created by Chugong, h-goon, and DUBU(REDICE STUDIO) and recently received the 2nd most votes for “Manga We Want to See Animated” conducted by AnimeJapan 2021. 

Yen Press is publishing the novel and webcomic in print. Tapas Media describes Solo Leveling as: 

There exist portals to another world. These “Gates” have become as commonplace as air and so too have the hunters that make a living slaying the creatures that reside within them. Among these hunters, Sung Jinwoo is an E-rank, the absolute weakest of the weak. But that won’t stop him from trying to grow stronger to provide for his loved ones.

Kill the Hero is currently available up to chapter 22 with updates every Tuesday. The webcomic is created by Cartoon life and D-dart. The series is described as: 

After he’s killed by the righteous leader of his own guild, Woojin gets a chance to start over. This time he’s not interested in saving the world from monsters—he’s got his sights set on revenge! His high-level kills quickly garner him notoriety among the game plebs, while boosting his stats as he masterminds his way closer to the top. The Max Level Hero Strikes Back is available with 20 chapters and will receive updates every Thursday. The webcomic is created by Yudo and Devil’s tail. The series is described as:

I’m Destined to Greatness is available with 22 chapters and will receive updates every Tuesday. The webcomic is created by writingmachine and Seo yun kyo. The series is described as: 

In the real world, Taehyun Kim has a boring low-effort life, but as a virtual reality gamer, he lives for a harsh challenge. Why become the best player in the world’s hottest online game if you’re going to do it the easy way? Warrior? Nope. Rogue? Nah. Tapas Media’s newest additions in April also include A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special by Wookjakga and Usonan, I Woke Up As The Villian by yu hyun so and arlg, Leveling Up Alone by Sinfeel and BANGDOG, and The Goddess of Healing by JIANWUWU and HUQI.

Tapas Media also recently partnered with Netmarble to produce a webcomic spin-off based on the mobile game Iron Throne: The Firstborn. The series is titled Firstborn: Divided Loyalties by C.J. Young.
