#A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School! Unveils Special Visual for 2nd Cour

A new special visual has been unveiled for the second cour of the ongoing A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School! TV anime series. The anime first began airing in Japan on October 8, 2024 and will run for two cours of 24 episodes.

Katsumi Ono (Hypnosis Mic: Division Rap Battle, Symphogear) is directing the anime series, with Deko Akao (Sasaki and Peeps, Tales of Wedding Rings) as screenwriter, Natsuki as character designer, and Takahiro Inafuku as music composer. Satelight is handling the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast stars:

- • Reo Tanie as Mamekichi Maizuka
- • Akari Kito as Beniko Zashiki

The anime is based on Mai Tanaka’s comedy horror manga series, which was launched in Square Enix’s Monthly G Fantasy magazine on November 18, 2014. Eighteen tankobon volumes have been released as of January 2025. Yen Press releases the manga series in English for release in North America.
A spinoff manga following Mamekichi Maizuka’s freshman year titled A New Student at Ghoul School! began serialization in March 2018. Two volumes have been released as of June 2023. The manga is available in English digitally on Square Enix’s Manga Up! Global app.

Crunchyroll is streaming A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School! and describes the main synopsis as:
Haruaki Abe is happy to finally fulfill his dream of becoming a teacher. That happiness is short-lived after he arrives at Hyakki Academy and finds out the school is full of monsters! Can Haruaki overcome his cowardice and get his supernatural students under control? Join the timid teacher and his bizarre class for a tale of ghoulish mischief and paranormal education.
