#Miyu Tomita & Kaori Maeda to Voice High School Girls Traveling around Japan in Original Anime Tabihani

The official Twitter for the upcoming original anime Tabihani has announced its two main voice cast members – Miyu Tomita (Emma Brightness in The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter) as Akari Yasima and Kaori Maeda (Shizuku Osaka in Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club) as Nagi Kitayama. The story centers on two high school girls who travel across Japan to find the locations where Akari’s travel-loving “Onee-san” used to visit.

The anime is directed by Kazuya Sakamoto, who started his career at Kyoto Animation and currently works at Laiden Film Kyoto Studio, and Hajime Mitsuda (Kiratto Pri☆chan) serves as character designer. How and when it will be distributed is currently undetermined.

Akari Yasima is a quiet-type of girl, who is in the first year of high school. She wants to travel to follow the shadows of her travel-loving “Onee-san” (older sister), who took care of her instead of her busy parents when she was a child.

Nagi Kitayama is also in the first year at high school. She is an innocent-type girl who has the energy to try anything and everything. She is in the same class as Akari and is attracted to Akari’s mysterious atmosphere, so she decides to talk to her.
