Magical Detective Misty Kasumi is on the case! With a true sense of justice, Kasumi (Magical) is ready to take out the bad guys and save Landosol!

 

(Look, we get it. This may seem a bit out of left field for some Knights out there as far as special character theming goes but trust us. It’ll also make a lot more sense when you realize that we’ve got a brand new, magical girl-themed story event featuring Kasumi and Shiori in a bit.)

 

Like her regular variant, Kasumi (Magical)’s toolkit revolves around stunning your opponents and reducing their potency via a variety of effects. This time, her skills and Union Burst primarily revolve around reducing opponents’ TP, potentially throwing timelines and team compositions in disarray as their ability to unleash Union Bursts are dynamically reduced. That’s magical!

 

Kasumi (Magical) isn’t a limited character, which means she’ll be added to the Premium gacha rotation after her Focus Gacha ends. However, the Focus Gacha will be one of your best opportunities for obtaining her, especially with increased draw rates and the ability to redeem character points for her, too.

 

The Kasumi (Magical) Focus Gacha runs for 10 days, from 1/4, 23:00 UTC to 1/14, 22:59 UTC. Get ready to make magic with Kasumi (Magical)!

With a pure heart and her trusty bow, Shiori (Magical) is ready to lock on and shoot her shot! Show your support for the magical girls as they defend Landosol from those pesky foes. There might be some bad guys among us but Misty★Kasumi and Purely★Shiori will surely save us! During the story event period, you’ll be able to recruit Shiori (Magical) after defeating the boss on Normal difficulty. Make sure to believe in your friends and help out Shiori (Magical) while she’s still in her magical form!

 

 

For an even more magical experience, we’re also increasing the experience gain rates for completing Event Quests. During the event, clearing Event Quests will give 1.5x times the normal experience, in addition to the normal Mana, items, and Boss Tickets that these quests give out. 

 

The Victory Medal Gacha also makes its return for this event! Clearing event stages, event missions, and defeating the previously mentioned bosses will earn you Victory Medals, which can be exchanged for a plethora of goodies. There’s a predetermined series of reward lineups, each featuring a key reward – once you roll the current lineup’s key reward, you’ll have the opportunity to either reset the rewards and move ahead to the next lineup, or hold off on resetting to clear out all the possible rewards. Here are the key rewards you should look out for!

 

• Lineup 1: Shizuru’s Memory Shards x 20
• Lineup 2: Shiori (Magical)’s Memory Shards x 25
• Lineup 3: Shizuru‘s Memory Shards x 30
• Lineup 4: Shiori (Magical)’s Memory Shards x 40

 

Just remember – once you’ve gone through the four initial lineups, you won’t be able to reset the active lineup until you’ve obtained all the possible rewards from the current active lineup.

 

The Magical Girl Duo: We Are Misty & Purely story event will be available from 1/4, 23:00 UTC to 1/17, 22:59 UTC.

 

 

Just when you thought the love meter couldn’t get any higher, it overflows. Bring in Valentine’s love in this update with Unique Equipment for Eriko (Valentine) and Shizuru (Valentine). Watch as they bake their way to even greater heights. Unique Equipment will be unlocked for Eriko (Valentine) and Shizuru (Valentine) on January 4, after 9:00 UTC.

 

 

What could be better than a trip to Maho-Maho Kingdom? A trip to Maho-Maho Kingdom with an even more powerful Maho! She’s prepared to support her allies with even stronger skills with her 6★ ascension. You will be able to obtain Maho’s Pure Memory Shards by completing Very Hard stage 20-2. Recall that you will also need Princess Orbs from the Temple Trek in order to ascend your character. *Note* This process cannot be reversed. 

 

Very Hard Main Quest stage 20-2 and 6★ ascension for Maho will be unlocked on 1/4 at 9:00 UTC.

 

 

As part of our New Year’s Campaign, there will also be a special double whammy of login campaigns. First up, the Three Days of Joy login bonus of 300 jewels per day when you log in 

between 1/1/2023, 13:00 UTC to 1/4/2023, 12:59 UTC.

 

If you thought three days wasn’t enough, we’ve got you covered. The New Year’s Fortune login bonus will be running alongside it. From 1/1/2023, 13:00 UTC to 1/12/2023, 12:59 UTC, log in to the game to reveal your fortune for even more jewels. You can obtain this bonus for up to 7 days during the New Year’s Fortune login bonus.

 

A fresh year calls for some redecorating! Now is the perfect time to decorate your guildhouse with some returning furniture with our re-release of New Year furniture. Trust us, your guildhouse could use a bit of a refresh and we’re here to help make that happen. Every Knight will get an opportunity to obtain this special free furniture.
