#The Blazing Dawn Reveals “Intruders Arc” Story Visual & Latest PV Trailer
A new story key visual and PV trailer have been released for the Japanese dub broadcast of the Dragon Raja -The Blazing Dawn- donghua series.
The story visual highlights the animated series’ ongoing “Intruders Arc,” while the PV trailer showcases the “Intruders Assault” story arc.
The series began broadcasting in Japan under the title Ryuzoku: The Blazing Dawn in April 2024 and has been released internationally by Aniplex. A second season was announced in November 2022, but a premiere date has yet to be announced.
Wang Xin is directing and writing the screenplay for Dragon Raja -The Blazing Dawn-, with Li Shimin as character designer and animation supervisor, Ting Wu as music director and sound director, and KOHTA YAMAMOTO as music composer. HANABARA Animation is handling the animation production.
Meanwhile, the Japanese dub voice cast includes Daiki Yamashita as Lu Mingfei, Ayumu Murase as Lu Mingze, and Kaede Hondo as Motong Chen.
The Chinese animated series was produced by Tencent Penguin Pictures and Garden Culture. The first season aired in China from August 19, 2022 to Nov 25, 2022 for a total of 17 episodes, including an “Episode 0.”
The donghua is based on the Dragon Raja (Long Zu) novel series written by Chinese author Jiang Nan, who is credited with the donghua’s original story. A total of six volumes were published from April 2010 to December 2015.
The novels consist of five story arcs, a prequel short story, and an anthology novella. In addition to an animated series, the novels have also inspired a manhua comic and video game powered by Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 4.
Garden Culture describe the synopsis of the Dragon Raja as:
An ordinary and unlucky high school student, Lu Mingfei, one day received an admission letter from Kassel College, a foreign private university. After hesitating and hesitating, Lu Mingfei decided to find out. So far, he has stepped into the world where the “Dragon” exists, his life has undergone earth-shaking changes, and he has embarked on the journey of “slaying the dragon.”
