In 2019, Nat Ćmiel shared Serotonin II, their debut album as yeule. Between its moments of soaring dream-electro and vivid, occasionally abrasive instrumentals, the project was determined to carve out its own lane in the post-Grimes pop landscape and was successful in doing so. Next year, yeule will return with their new project Glitch Princess, out on February 4, 2022.
Its first single is “Don’t Be So Hard On Your Own Beauty,” an ethereal, almost emo gem driven by a passion for a person capable of driving away the darkness haunting the margins. In the music video directed by Joy Song, yeule looks like a runway model deposited in Alice’s Wonderland as they perform a dance routine in reverse. Check out all the loveliness above.
