Japanese singer-songwriter LMYK has posted a three-and-half minute new music video for “0 (zero),” the ED theme song for the ongoing summer 2021 TV anime The Case Study of Vanitas. The clip shows highlights of the anime’s first to sixth episodes.

The artist’s name “LMYK” is the initials of her real name, as she has a German father and a Japanese mother. This is her second anime theme song work following her major debut single song “Unity” which was released in November 2020 as the Japanese theme song for the Chinese anime film The Legend of Hei.

“0 (zero)” was already digitally released on August 11, and its CD single will be available on September 8. In addition to the Japanese lyric version, LMYK also recorded the song’s English lyric version, which has been used in English-speaking countries and other regions. This clip featuring the English version is edited to match the world view of the anime with the music.
