# Casey Hudson establishes Humanoid Studios

Mass Effect trilogy director Casey Hudson, who left BioWare back in December 2020, has announced the establishment of Humanoid Studios, a new game development studio based in Canada working on an unannounced new intellectual property.

“I’ve been working with some colleagues on something awesome, and I wish I could tell you all about it!” Hudson said in a Twitter thread. “For now though, I can only say this… Today we are announcing a new independent videogame company built to unleash the creative freedom of developers—bringing innovation and artistry to players through an all-new IP.”

Humanoid Studios is currently hiring. Its website lists positions available for a senior gameplay programmer, senior gameplay designer, director of operations, senior creative director, environment artist, senior level designer, and 3D artist.
