#Japan Box Office: ARIA The CREPUSCOLO Achieves No. 1 Per-screen Average

Following the three TV anime series: ARIA The ANIMATION (2005), ARIA The NATURAL (2006), ARIA The ORIGINATION (2008), and the three-episode OVA ARIA The AVVENIRE (2015-2016), as part of the 15th-anniversary for the anime adaptation project based on Kozue Amano’s ARIA slice-of-life fantasy manga series, an all-new episode ARIA The CREPUSCOLO was released in 77 theaters in Japan on March 5, 2021.

Due to the small number of theaters, it was only ranked 10th in the overall box office ranking of the weekend but achieved the No.1 per-screen average (among the top 15 films). It also ranked No.1 in Filmark’s first day satisfaction ranking with an approval rating of 4.39 rating based on 113 reviews.

Also, a teaser trailer for the final chapter of the “Ao no Curtain Call” trilogy, titled ARIA The BENEDIZIONE has been attached to the end of ARIA The CREPUSCOLO. No official release date has not yet been confirmed.
