A 15-year-old boy was killed Wednesday morning in a blaze in a Brooklyn home, according to police sources and fire officials.

It took ten minutes for the blaze to grow from a first alarm to a second alarm fire.

The fire broke out inside a building on Pulaski Street near Nostrand Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 6:20 a.m., according to the FDNY.

The 15-year-old boy was pronounced dead at 6:55 a.m., around 35 minutes after the fire began.

The fire grew to a second alarm within about 10 minutes, drawing 25 units and about 106 firefighters.

The cause of the fire at 16 Pulaski St. is currently unknown.

A teenager, who was not immediately identified, was discovered unconscious and unresponsive on the fourth floor and pronounced dead at 6:55 a.m., police sources said.

25 units of firefighters were called to the scene.

The fire was placed under control about 15 minutes later.

The cause was not immediately known.
